Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” Here at Southbay Kids, we want every child to have the chance to meet a God who loves them and learn what it means to follow him in a safe environment.
Bible Stories
Children engage with interactive Bible lessons and activities to connect with trustworthy Bible truths for their everyday lives and to draw them closer to Jesus.
Games and Activities
Children learn best from hands-on activities and opportunities to play. We do crafts, sing songs and play games to help kids have fun while learning to follow Jesus..
Building Friendship
Spending time in play and discussion builds deeper friendships. Teachers can also become strong role models for your child through positive play and learning time.
Worship Together
Children will start the morning in the worship service (English- or Mandarin-speaking) with their grown-ups. At 10:20 the children will be dismissed to go to their classrooms with their teacher. Parents may accompany them to see the class location.
Safety First
All our classrooms and teacher training is in compliance with California AB 506 safety standards. Volunteers are required to go through a background check and regular training.
Age-Appropriate
In order to provide for age-appropriate spiritual and social growth, children are enrolled in the class corresponding with their grade or age as of the beginning of the school year.
First Time?
Are you visiting for the first time? A volunteer will help you check-in your children on the lobby tablets. After check-in, from 10:00 – 10:20am children ages 3+ will stay in the worship service with their grown-ups before following their teacher to the Southbay Kids class.
A safe environment
We take the care and safety of your children seriously. Every teacher and volunteer who serves with children has completed a background check and training in accordance with California AB 506 standards, ensuring the highest level of accountability. Volunteers go through regular trainings to ensure that all our compliance is up-to-date.
When you check-in, your child will be provided with a name tag and their adult will receive a unique code to pick them up. Only you or your designated appointee can pick up your child.
Southbay Kids Club
Join our Friday night fun from 7:45 – 9:30pm! Childcare and children’s programs are available from babies up through 5th grade. Children have story time, activities, light snacks and games.
