New Year, New Theme
We are thankful that the Lord has brought us through 2006, and we have seen the wonderful hands of God at our church. After a year of learning about “Being Holy,” we concluded that we didn’t give enough time to learn much about “Useful to the Master.” Therefore, we decided the theme for 2007 would be “Together We Serve.” It is my prayer that we may learn to serve God and each other with spirits of unity and harmony.

Congratulations
Lee and Jaime have a baby girl on Nov. 24. It was nice to see the whole family worshipping with us during the Christmas Celebration.

Lorsen and Jaime have a baby girl, Jubilee, on Dec. 15, Though unexpected early, both mom and daughter are doing great.

After much prayers and challenges, Akani’s father finally arrived from India to assist Rufus’ family so that he can concentrate on his seminary studies.

Building Project Update
We have moved another step closer to obtaining the construction permit. The design teams finally were able to put all the necessary drawings together and submitted to the City of San Jose for plan check. Though we expect to have different comments from different departments from the City, it is a motion we anticipated long time ago. Let’s continue to pray for this critical plan-check stage so that we may start construction soon.

新年、新主題

我們為神帶領我們經過2006年而感恩，我們看見神奇妙的手在教會中。在學習〝成為聖潔〞一年之後，我們發覺並沒有足夠時間去學習〝合乎主用〞。所以，我們決定2007年以〝同心同工〞為教會主題。我祈求我們學習以合一和融洽的靈來事奉神和彼此服侍。

• Lee和Jaime在11/24/2006誕下麟兒，很高興在聖誕崇拜中見到他們一家在教會一起慶祝。
• 古樂聖和伍國欣夫婦在12/15/2006誕下千金，取名Jubilee。雖然產期比預期為早，但母女平安。
• 經過很多的代禱和各樣的挑戰，Akani的父親終於從印度來到幫忙Rufus的家庭讓他可以專心在神學院的學習。

建堂消息

我們再向取得建築許可證邁進一步。設計工程組已經完成所有需要的圖則，並送交市政府審批。雖然我們預期不同的市政府部門會有不同的意見，但這是我們期待已久的進展。讓我們繼續為這重要的審批階段來代禱，以至我們可以盡快開始建築工程。
